The Alt-Energy Tech management team has over 100+ man-years of professional experience. Their proven vision, drive and acumen has been gained through companies and organisation such as BP, CDC, General Electric, Loral Aerospace, Lockheed-Martin, NASA, RBS Group, Rockwell International, SAIC, Standard Bank, United Nations, World Bank, Xerox, etc.


M. Mukhtar

Mukhtar brings operational and strategy experience with early stage Business Development specialties to his role at Alt-Energy Tech. Mr Mukhtar has been involved in Hydro & Sustainable Development projects for the various Multilateral Agencies and Governments. Other careers have included setting up businesses in Asia on behalf of a large Canadian Mining Corporation to working on then the largest Dam project in the world. Mr Mukhtar has extensive global experience in Energy sector having worked in UK, Italy, Central/South Asia, Caribbean and USA. He has delivered numerous papers at global conferences concerning the uptake of Renewable Energy Systems from a commercial perspective.


Ahmed Yar

Ahmed brings extensive financial management experience to Alt-Energy Tech with an understanding of the Energy industry. Prior to joining Alt-Energy Tech, Ahmed worked in a leading Emerging Market Bank. Other Banking careers have been with Corporate Banking & Financial Markets division of Royal Bank of Scotland, Europe?s second largest Banking Group. He had previously completed a 2 years at British Petroleum (BP) bringing productivity disciplines both financial and operational to BP?s Energy Trading Business. Other careers have included working for a leading US Venture Capital Firm and Strategist for a technology start-up. Ahmed is an associate of the UK Securities Institute and Royal Institute of International Affairs, London.

Bashir A Syed

Syed joined Alt-Energy Tech after a distinguished career in Academics and Aerospace industry. As an advocate for Alternative Energy, Syed regularly featured as a keynote speaker in Emerging Technology conferences throughout the world. Most recently Syed worked as a consultant with Johnson Space Centre, NASA, supporting International Space station, MARS, Advanced Technologies, and Space Radiation Effects on Electronic Systems and Humans. He is the author of numerous technical articles ranging from Conducting Polymers to PV Technology. Syed is a Fulbright, NSF/US-AEC and NASA Scholar, and is member of American Solar Energy Society, American Physical Society, IEEE, Union of Concerned Scientists and New York Academy of Sciences, USA.

M. Afzal Sheikh

Sheikh, a veteran of Xerox Labs, Palo Alto, California, has more than 25 years of direct hands-on Research & Development experience in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Sheikh has extensive Photo Voltaic (PV) product development experience. His main focus is in the technological applications related to environmental issues. He is presently conducting research related to the analysis of renewable energy systems and especially to meteorological aspects within this field. Sheikh is a member of IEEE and holds various Solar System inventions to his name.
